“Javier,” Suho said, clutching tight to his jacket, nearly tearing the lapels off. “Javier, I can’t get married to her.”
“The queen.”
“Yes.” Suho tugged harder on Javier’s coat.
“The one outside right now, telling your parents that she’s engaged to you?”
“Yes.” Suho slumped miserably against him, throwing his arms around Javier’s shoulders. Like Javier was his personal playground. But he didn’t shove his lord off. “Javier, I can’t do it. She’ll work me to death, and she’ll— she’ll come up with a way to take away all of our nice things, she’ll send you away to god knows where—“
“Why would she send me away?”
