Summary
A light appeared in his eyes. It was only when it appeared once more did Mikan realize it had vanished—that it had been gone this whole time he was talking. Despite saying he was tired, Monokuma's words made him look re-energized. Monokuma's words made him look alive.
It was only when he started to look like that did she realize how exhausted he seemed before.
It was a sickly light. Trembling, and twisted. With sinking in her stomach, she realized something horrible and sad.
It was hope.
Mikan Tsumiki gets the Arrogance Disease, and Izuku Midoriya gets the Remembering Disease.
