Summary
The Mage sat, watching over his fields of dreamless solitude as the sun began to set for yet another rotation around Runeterra. With the final rays of light casting the world in a golden glow, the Mage at last turned to the Defender, arms still held in silent vigil for a weapon that was no longer there.
The Mage stared and sat for so long that he didn’t immediately realize the Defender’s eyes remained golden long after the sun had set and the world was bathed in the navy of night. Everything else was the same, smooth stone and the strange moss that grew from wherever the anomaly had touched. But when Viktor moved, those golden eyes followed him.
