"Lieutenant Rangi Sei’naka?” Tiguak asked. "Yes, sir.” She spoke firmly, but her voice was hoarse from crying. When Atuat met her eyes, she could see how distressed the girl really was. “Your letter spoke of a high-ranking official. Who is she?”
