Summary
Dracule Mihawk is a solitary man. His entire legacy rests on his skill and determination as the worlds greatest swordsman. Yet, even he can grow bored while waiting for a challenger to knock him off the top. When the ocean washes a runaway slave onto his doorstep, upheaving his way of life, the pair enter into an odd affair of symbiosis.
Who knows? Perhaps they'll learn they have something to offer the other, and with time, begin to grow on each other.

Summary
Buggy jerks back the moment Mihawk’s hand lands on his shoulder. “Shanks? You said Shanks, correct?”
“What? You remember now?” There's a sass in Buggy’s voice and a glare in his eye. “You know, I hate seeing someone as strong as him look so defeated. The least you could have done was give him a reason for why you left, no matter how trashy it would have been.”
“He still remembers?” There is a breathless quality to Mihawk’s words, and Buggy scoffs.
“He still remembers?” Buggy mocks. “Of course, he does, if you had the decency to -” And before Buggy could finish, Mihawk is walking away. There is a sense of urgency in his steps as his footsteps echoed through the hallway.

Summary
They met when they were younger. They had duels, drank, would laugh(well, Shanks laughed. The most Mihawk would do is give a ghost of a smile if he was lucky), and would just meet up from time to time.
Shanks already knew what his feeling was. He would bring them to his grave. He was content with what he had now. If only he had been sober a little longer to keep it all together.
