Jade laughs, but she’s playing with her fingers and she seems…smaller somehow. No longer this larger than life assassin, she’s now just Jade, her older brother’s… something-or-other, who’s sitting awkwardly on a worn down sofa in an apartment she’s way overdressed for.
Mia goes to speak, but instead of words her voice produces a sound that sounds more like an anemic frog than anything else, and she giggles awkwardly, before clearing her throat and asking. “Uh… forgive who?”Series
