Summary
“Is that a robot!?” Techno hollered from over Phil’s shoulder, Wilbur’s face appearing beside his brother
“I thought I told you to stay put. What if this was dangerous?”
“He isn’t dangerous! He is a kid!” Wilbur rolled his eyes
Techno was now directly in front of the robot, poking at the antenna that twitched in response. He jumped back and raced to hide behind his father. The three watched as the eyelids of the animatronic opened to reveal scarily human blue eyes. The only indicator that they weren’t real human eyes were that they clearly were backlit, providing light to the dark alley. Next came a smile and a wave of the bot’s arm, which moved fluidly with ball joints and a flexible skeletal structure.
“Hello! I’m TOM-Bot!” A cheery voice was produced, a slight metallic static giving an echo to the words
“Hi TOM-Bot! I’m Wilbur.” Wilbur stepped forward and extended his arm. No matter the situation Wilbur was always the extrovert, even when his life may be in mortal danger.
Or Phil, Techno and Wilbur find a child sized robot (Tommy) and decide to adopt him. The only problem is that TOM-Bot is a product of Dreamcorp and cannot expose his purpose of creation. It can't be that bad right?
