Lightning grabbed a fistful of Scar’s shirt and slammed him against the nearest locker with an audible BANG. The crowd ‘ooh’d, ‘ahh’d, gasped in shock, and began to whisper at the display; But most of their noise fell deaf to his ringing ears.
As Scar groaned—disoriented upon the impact—Lightning tried to pretend his body didn’t have a physical reaction to it’s sound. Scar reached for something to hold on to, pathetically attempting to find solace in the wrists Lightning used to push him away.
Pathetically, Lightning let him.
Warmth began to seep away from his wrist. Lightning couldn’t say he noticed.
“I’M NOT GONNA LET HIM GO!” He shrieked, manic in a way that surprised even himself, “I CAN’T—JUST-”
