Summary
Louis father, Joseph, has landed himself in debt with the mob.
Stupidly mistaken their generous loan offer to get his candy shop business off the ground was in good faith. Thing is, while his store makes money now it doesn’t make near enough to pay back the loan with interest. After breaking down to Louis, his oldest, in the hospital about what happen Louis promises to take care of it.
Being nothing more then a college art student who only makes enough money on his work to get by, he doesn’t know what he’s going to do he just knows he’ll do anything to help family.
Unbeknownst to him, mob boss Armand de Romanus falls in love with him at first sight. Offers to buy Louis at the price of $500 an hour. Louis, desperate and knowing that was his best bet to pay off the debt of 1.3 million quickly agrees.
He didn’t think the very terrifying Armand meant he wanted to take him out on real dates though.
Or
Armand finds $500 an hour a cheap price for the chance to court someone as lovely as Louis.
