Summary
His head swims dangerously, thoughts flitting in and out quicker than he can interpret them, it feels like he’s being crushed under the vast amount of stimuli his brain is receiving. Of course, his body’s response is to completely shut down. Which is good when he has the option to go home and sleep until his brain decides to function as normal again.
Not so good when he’s training to defend the universe.
Lance is completely screwed.

Summary
The aftermath of the Sokovia Accords affair left The Avengers team in shambles, with its members having to pick up the pieces and attempt to reassemble them to be able to work together as a unit again. To do that, they participate in bonding exercises that do not always go well...
(This fic, as more to follow on this series, belongs to the same alternate universe as my fic A Red Start Glinting in the Night. It's not necessary to read that one first to enjoy this one and the other ones, but it'll give you some context about how my version of the Post-Civil War events went down. A Red Star also tells the story of an OFC named Blake –Bucky's girlfriend– that will make appearances or be mentioned in some of the fics from this series. Either way, these are one-shots meant to be read as stand-alones).

Summary
You're Theia. It's not your name, but the identity you've chosen. The Demon of a Thousand Eyes. You've spent the last ten years in an apartment just out of V territory; manage your 993 souls, visit Rosie every month to purchase a jar of pickled eyeballs, and fuck Vox when Velvette says that he won't have anyone else (what can you say; he likes having all those 29 eyes on him at once). You're *not* depressed. Rosie doesn't agree; she pulls a favor to get *Alastor* of all people to get you an invite to Princess Morningstar's hotel. You've avoided meeting him for years, kept a careful watch on him with your powers (any eye you see in the world you can look through, as long as you know where it is, including posters, photos, paintings, and ones you've drawn yourself. You can use these eyes to manifest to another location in which one of these eyes that you're familiar with is present). Rosie keeps suggesting redemption but you know you're irredeemable, but not for the reasons she might think. You have a terrible secret, one you've chosen to hide from everyone. Being at the hotel means you will eventually meet Lucifer, the one person who would be able to realize your secret immediately. Trouble? Ask and you shall *perceive.*
