“Bullshit,” Gawr growled in her mind. “Half the rules for that thing she’s told us about don’t make sense. She could probably find a way to bend the ‘rules’ and teleport her and the zombie here five minutes ago.”
'Six now,' the Atlantean corrected. 'And considering that the rules for time travel are that complicated, do you really want her potentially causing a paradox and getting everyone hurt - we and Calli included?'
“...Shut up with your stupid logic.”
The shark-girl laughed, drawing a few stares from some people walking past. She quickly looked down at the phone in her hand to make it seem like she had just read something funny instead of looking crazy. It seemed to work as people continued moving on, though she still blushed lightly. She was not ashamed of her dual personality, but she did not like strangers stopping to ask questions some days, especially when she had something important going on.
And, really, what could be more important than the double date she and Calli had with her best friend Ame and her girlfriend Ollie?
