Summary
Elena accepts her fate as Klaus' sacrifice. Bonnie does not. She crafts a spell to spirit Elena away. One Elena dies that night, and another wakes up somewhere in London, in a universe without Mikaelsons - or Salvatores, or Mystic Falls. Alone. More than a decade later, after Klaus sacrifices himself for the sake of Hope, he wakes up in that same London street, confused and angry. And then he catches a glimpse of a familiar Doppelganger.
