Summary
A rash of arson cases across the Continental U.S. has the entire country sweating. The fires blaze hotter than they ought to, and are damn near impossible to put out when they really get going. The fundamentalists are blaming witchcraft and the devil.
Captain Pete McKinnon is blaming it on vampires. After Mr. Oliver's attack last year, anti-vampire sentiment is higher than ever, so his department, along with RPIT, have kept recent video evidence under wraps. No one wants a cross-species war breaking out on the streets of St. Louis, but with fires starting in the East Side, it's only a matter of time before things reach a boiling point.
