Summary
Told mostly through the observation logs of Dr. Hinako Iwasaki, a behavioral analyst working under the Hero Commission, Reports follows the intertwined lives of two children raised within its walls—Takami, Keigo (age 11) and Todoroki, Touya (age 13).
Through Iwasaki’s professional notes and deeply personal reflections, the story traces the boys’ growth, struggles, and fragile bond as they navigate the Commission’s strict programs. Keigo wrestles with impatience and attachment issues; Touya battles trust, anxiety, and self-harm.
As the years pass, Dr. Iwasaki’s detached reports begin to blur with genuine care, revealing not only the boys’ development but the humanity often lost behind institutional walls.
