Summary
“I can handle whatever you throw at me,” John said back, determined and something like fire flickered behind Wilbur’s eyes.
“Well, we’ll just see about that, now won’t we?” Wilbur shot back with a grin before letting go of John’s hand and departing.
John watches him walk away for a long moment and he sighed heavily, trying to ignore the way his heart raced a little and his face heated up. This was not appropriate feelings to be having.
