Paradis Island. 91th century, at the dawn of the Year 9003. 10,158 years after the birth of Ymir Fritz. 8,158 years after the Fall of Wall Maria. 8,149 years after the Battle of Heaven and Earth and the death of Eren Yaeger. 25 years after the birth of Marlis Domhardt. Or is it ? Was she truly born after just what felt like a few years ago ? Or was she, in fact, born thousands of years ago ?
How come, then, that when she looked at History books she seemed to remember each battle fought, each prominent allies and enemies mentioned and described ? Why was it that her reality slowly seems to resemble more that of her nightmares than her actual life ?
