After a long stay in Natlan, Aether returns to Liyue, seeking rest and a peaceful moment after all his adventures. Upon his arrival, he reunites with his lover, Keqing, who, both surprised and overjoyed, rushes to him. However, they don't get the chance to enjoy a romantic moment right away, as Keqing is occupied with an important mission. Wanting to help her finish sooner, Aether offers his assistance.
As the day goes on, Aether remembers something he had forgotten: Keqing’s particular way of speaking. Her condescending tone and authoritative attitude, always giving orders, start to get on his nerves. Paimon notices and warns him to address the issue before it escalates, reminding him that he often complains about it.
But when the mission finally ends and Aether finds himself alone with Keqing in her home, one remark too many slips from the Yuheng’s lips. That was the last straw. Aether loses his temper. The argument erupts. This time, he won’t just let it slide. He’s going to make her understand what it feels like to be constantly criticized and put down…
