Summary
In the winter, when everything is frozen and still and nothing changes, the fresh sheet of ice and expanding cracks creates the most haunting sounds. And every winter, Yubin traverses to the northern-most part of The Wastelands to intently listen in the dark and continue her research in hopes of grasping what was causing the growing ice and what was causing the sounds.
And everything is a backdrop to a suspicious government that seems to be covering something up.
