Legend speaks of a man who lives at the edge of the ice. Every child of the south had heard the stories growing up, whispers of fires that burned without fuel and eyes that glowed like the sunset.

Summary
Azula is forced to flee the palace after multiple attempts at her life, which she thinks is caused by a secret conspiracy against her. With this she goes to the only people she trusts (trusts are too useless to be involved, that is): her brother and uncle, who have been looking for the Avatar for years.
Little does any of them know, Azula is the Avatar, and the only conspiracy is that of her father, who got word of her airbending without her knowledge.
With the help of their uncle, the twelve year old ghost of an airbending Avatar, a Waterbender they totally didn't kidnap, her brother, a surprisingly violent lemur, and others, can a conflicted Azula and Zuko realize the injustices of their father and stop him before it's too late?

Summary
… stains the ground, tainting the stones beneath. It is a sacrilegious act, a taboo that had been broken by the one who calls himself a Phoenix, a title that should’ve belonged to his partner. Suki shouldn’t be surprised, really, but it doesn’t make it any less tragic.
He was a Dragon.
And the Phoenix killed him.
Or: a look into Aang’s final moments, through Suki’s perspective. Prequel to “phoenix tears.” T for character death, graphic depictions of blood and wounds, and sadness. Lots and lots of sadness.

Summary
Avatar Aang is thought to be the last Avatar after the events of Sozin's Comet, which decimated the balance between the elements and lives of everyone.
But, destiny can be a funny thing. Azula learned it the hard way when she accidentally waterbended and later, airbended. Now a fugitive, Avatar Azula must learn the rest of the elements before the summer solstice, the time where Sozin's Comet comes again and empowers all Fire Benders.
That is if she can avoid the obstacles along the way of being the Avatar.

Summary
What if Aang never froze himself for 100 years, making the next Avatar Hama?
And what if Young Iroh was sent, along with Piandao and Jeong Jeong to capture her?
What if Pakku and Kanna reunited much earlier than in the show?-
“Is it the fire nation?” Hama asked Kanna, gaining more of her dangerous courage.
“Of course it's the fire nation!” her scream drowned in the many other yells and cries around them. “run now
Hama or I swear to the spirits…” she didn't even finish the sentence before Hama took off.The wrong way.
Towards the shore.
Shit.

Summary
Zuko is the Crown Prince of the Fire Nation; or at least he was before his banishment. Now he is searching for the Avatar- a task that would be much easier if the Avatar had a face. As it is, he or she could be anyone. But Zuko is not a quitter, so he keeps searching.
Aang was the Avatar once. A hundred years ago, he emerged from ice to find his people had been killed by the Fire Nation. They were trying to kill the Avatar. Ironically, Aang was one of only a handful of surviving Air Nomads. He had nothing except Appa, his glider, and his grief.
Katara is the chief’s daughter and the only waterbender left in the Southern Water Tribe. She and her brother leave their grandmother and tribe so Katara can master bending. On the open ocean, Katara gets the feeling that someone’s following them.
Toph is a wealthy blind girl. Her parents have sheltered her to the extreme since she was a baby. They think that’s the only way to keep her safe. But they don’t know that she can move boulders with a flick of her wrist. They don’t know that she can fight.
Four young benders. Four cultures. One insanely complicated story.

Summary
Its when Sokka lifts her up in his arms, and says to Zuko “you’ve finally captured the Avatar!” that he laughs
Its when Toph gives Sokka a playful punch on the shoulder and tells him to shut up.
It’s when Suki rolls her eyes and looks over at Katara with the slightest “why do we put up with them” look.
Its when Katara shakes her head and lets out a sigh, before laughing along with the group.
The echo of laughter, the faces, the playful teasing and shoving, becomes all too familiar to young Korra.

Summary
Any chance of them staying out of the war go out the window when the Southern Water Tribes are raided and their Waterbenders killed or taken.
It was supposed to be an easy mission, crippling what little strength the southern barbarians had.
However, the Fire Nation, unbeknownst to them, were misinformed of the strength of the Southern Water Tribes, and, unfortunately for them, Chief Paramount Hakoda is prepared to do whatever it takes to bring his people home.

(English translation of this)
Zuko smiles at her; he winces, feeling her hand on his – never quite used to the gentleness of other people’s touch, less so to the warmth of her skin. « It is very important for me to be here. », she whispers. « Thank you. »
Once again Zuko manages to catch a glimpse of the adventure-seeking, rebellious girl that challenged him and his beliefs, determined to find herself and her people’s power on her journey. « I should be the one thanking you. », he stutters clumsily. He feels terribly empty when Katara’s hand moves away from his – cold, all of a sudden: a type of coldness he has almost never felt before, freezing in guilt and regret.
