Summary
Throughout the generations, there had been many "made up stories" and "rumors" that had been passed down from family member to family member from your great great grandfather. Many stories had he told of what he called the "unseen Void," a realm that is filled with no mercy, and has granted no escape from its grips. He spoke of the all-knowing Goddess whose form takes up that of a spider, monsters that lurk in the night with unfulfilled desires for violence, and helpless prey that has been caught in its' web for all of eternity. Not many of your family members thought too much of it, as he was of old age and had many memory related issues. Until one day, you start experiencing visions of the place he so warned everybody about... Vigo, your Great-great-Grandfather's name was, was calling out to you, pleading you to free those stuck in that hopeless Realm. Grabbing his notes, books, and anything helpful of his, you set out on your journey to save those lost souls.
