Summary
It’s the smell. The worst part about war, about combat, is the smell of spell castoff, of burnt flesh, and of blood. Yeosang has never found something that smells worse than a battlefield once the dust has settled. Any arguments anyone could make to the contrary fall to the wayside as the putrid smell of death hangs over him, rolling his stomach. One never grows accustomed to the smell of death. Or at least, Yeosang never will.
The finer intricacies of the ongoing conflict with the beast plaguing their home are not Yeosang’s focus at the moment, however, because even though the fighting stopped several hours ago now, Jung Wooyoung has yet to reappear.
or stranded at the mouth of an evil dragon's layer with a creature infested forest between them and safety, Yeosang and Wooyoung must journey home together against all odds.
