Summary
Lycia is... or was, that's not very clear, on her way to become a paladin. But her life went upside down and she went on a little trip in the Eastern Kingdoms to explore new places and cool down a bit, and maybe figure out her self-esteem issues along the way. Or that was the plan at least, but then a new apocalypse started and the dead are rising and attacking people everywhere she goes.
Will that be a new challenge to overcome and an opportunity to explore herself and figure out how to get better, and maybe even meet some new people along the way ? Maybe. She might also just not make it, it's the apocalypse after all.(This story is based on some roleplay i did years ago. It includes no canon characters (barring a few local NPCs) as I prefer to focus on how the common people face the absurdly high-stakes events that happen all the time in WoW. Former knowledge of the setting will be helpful, but not needed to understand everything, or at least i'll do my best for that to be the case.)
(Also it's going to be long and slow, don't expect romance in chapter 1. Or 5. Or 10.)

Summary
Mere weeks have passed since Arthas Menethil set sail for Northrend, racing towards the Frozen Throne. Sylvanas Windrunner, from being mere moments from claiming her vengeance, finds herself further away from that goal with each passing day. Shunned, distrusted and hated, her Forsaken are without friends in a world that has no place for them. Beset by the Scourge and the rising Scarlet Crusade and with far too few resources, the Dark Lady grows increasingly desperate. She would ally with almost anyone if it would give her people a chance. The sudden arrival of two unlikely visitors inadvertently leads her to consider a small city state across the sea, reputedly ruled by an archmage with a certain history with a certain prince.
A story mainly revolving around Sylvanas Windrunner, Jaina Proudmoore and the Dark Rangers. Several other characters and their relationships make an appearance from time to time.
And commentary and constructive criticism is allowed and encouraged, if I need to spell that out. Doesn't matter how big or small, deep or shallow. Keysmash or spam emojis at your heart's desire if you find it as hard as I do to think of what to say :)

Summary
This story is essentially the history of Warcraft (or most of it) through the eyes of a Night Elf Druid who has seen far too many wars, and frankly, is getting too old for this nonsense. There's ten thousand years of history between the start, and the crotchety old stereotype our protagonist becomes, which I will attempt to keep as lore friendly as possible, though there will be a bit of headcanon as we follow our druid boi on his journeys. Most of it is, as you would expect, from a druidic perspective so if you do not like druids, nature, or the themes associated with such, this may not be the story for you. That said, it is very Night Elf themed and we do sometimes follow different Stormclaws, as we hit modern WoW era, that's going to become more important for obvious reasons.

Since the rather catastrophic defense duty in Maldraxxus, Captain Orthorin Dawncaller has adjusted his soldiers' plan of action a lot. Nonetheless their remaining duties pose some challenges. Returning from one such, the monk learns that one of his soldiers has most-likely got himself into trouble. Orthorin knows of course that he can’t risk himself or other soldiers for the sake of one foolhardy companion, but eventually he has no other choice. Will he be able to safe his soldier’s life or will everything take a turn for the worse?
