Summary
Taerae became Hanbin's anchor so quickly when he first came to the company. Close in age, close in height, and so quickly close and closer in the way they relied on each other. Taerae was self-assured in the way the rest of their team often wasn't, still aren't. Hanbin can push him and push him and push until they are both breaking and gasping for breath and sweat dripping off their faces like tears and Taerae will keep going if Hanbin tells him to, long after the others have given up.
Despite how much Hanbin wants it, how he strives and toils to become as perfect as possible, how he knows he shines brighter than anyone else when he is on the stage, how he's already tasted bitter defeat once and swore to himself he never would again, it's still not enough. He tries and tries and he can't reach those pretty chairs he wants so badly, right where Taerae sits.
