Yunho is a good kid. He achieves high grades, is kind to elders, and does what his parents tell him to do.
His family goes to church on Sundays. They pray before every meal and before bed.
However, Yunho long gave up on that last one, as he doesn't sleep anymore. He has tried everything, but what he asks god, is left unanswered.
Until a boy, Song Mingi, transfers to his school and moves to his village.
His prayers have been answered, and god has given him the devil. He's standing right before his feet.
Only the devil can help Yunho sleep at night. The devil is everything he has ever dreamed of and more.
Yunho is scared of Mingi, but his lack of sleep keeps pulling him closer to the only thing that can save him.
The devil's beautiful voice draws him closer, pulls him in. And when he wakes up, he yearns to hear him speak again, his calming presence, his hands in his hair. His tired eyes finally closing into a long, deep sleep.
The devil hates helping others, but he's willing to do it if that's what god has intended. -

She was going to die here, alone, cold, and suffocating. Dying with no dignity and not even enough strength to hide away the same way a dying animal would. All she could do was lay on the concrete and wait for what felt like the inevitable, maybe God would welcome her into his heavenly warmth, or maybe he’d look at her sins and banish her to burn in hell.

Summary
After Cameron and Chase's divorce, Chase is left with a lot of questions. Is he really like House? Does he really have no morals? As he tries to find the answers and change himself for the better, Chase finds himself in an unexpected romance. Alongside this, he finds himself, led by a patient, returning to his faith to question things he never though to question before.
This is just a passion project I've been working on when not working on another book. Chase caught my attention and the idea of an arc like this struck me in a way other characters hadn't. Maybe it's because I'm transgender, but this seems very fitting for Chase as a character. This is also my first work on here, so if it's a little strange, keep that in mind.
