Summary
Ray Doyle resigns from Criminal Intelligence 5 for good after facing his best mate William Bodie being bullied for being bisexual and nastily bullied about his gay orientation by retired ex agents who worked for the unit back in the 1970s and 1980s. Could he help Bodie see there's a better life outside of CI5 and where he can truly be himself?

Ray Doyle is very glad that Bodie was not one of the agents that Lisa Wakeman managed to kill. The song from which I took the title, as well as "Les Miserables," from which it comes, didn't arrive in the UK until 1985. Sorry for the anachronism. Warning: contains rimming.
