Summary
To be different is to suffer, that much is no epiphany. Really, it is quite easy to discern. It simply lies in the human nature to reject the other. Searching for the similarities, it rejects what is different, because what is different is harder to predict; it is scary.
One doesn’t have to qualify as “strange” to know this.
It is nature.
Rui Kamishiro had been born different. He was different from his peers on an elemental level. But while he had been hopeful as a child that hope quickly served in strangling him. Utter rejection of his self was all he knew.
Yet live is funny in the way that it gives you what you desire most when you have already given up.
This is the journey of Rui's life and self-perception throughout his childhood and teens until he joins WxS.

Summary
(Based off the Revival My Dream event, do not read if offended by these sorts of things.)
Tsukasa Tenma is a young knight officer recently employed by the kingdom to watch out for the forest dwellers in the Great Forest of Niccori. But one of his first times out on patrol ends up leading him to make an unlikely friendship with Emu Otori, daughter of the chief of the nearby tribe.
As the two learn more about each other, they begin to realize that their peoples are not so different, and begin trying to bring their people together, making multiple friends along the way.
