Summary
Ed hisses through his teeth, bats out a paw to leave a scratch over the back of the hand that had giveth and then taketh away, luxuriating in the gasp it draws from Stede’s lips. Fucking good. Ed hopes it fucking hurt; hopes it leaves a nice red mark in its wake.
“Ed! That wasn’t very nice!” Stede yelps, his gaze hardening to meet Ed’s bratty petulance exactly where he’s at. “I don’t know if you deserve the new toy I got for you, actually.”
And, Ed stills.
Swallows. Fuck.
“New toy?” he echoes, the fight snuffing right out of him. “What is it?”
“Only for kittens who play nice, is what it is.”
