Summary
Dunn Smith looked at the person dressed in black, who, a few minutes earlier, had stared at him with unreadable eyes and a strange, silent determination; now was unconscious on the floor.
With his night vision and the light coming from the burning building, they managed to get a better look at the person. They didn't seem to be breathing, and some of his clothes were burned. But most importantly, tarot cards fell out of their pockets.
Someone is spreading The Fool's name; the Nighthawks investigate it. Meanwhile, the real The Fool is going around carefree in Backlund, with Fors and Xio trying to keep Him in line.
