Summary
Kaoru is a grocery store owner not struggling to make ends meet. The World has put him in this low role for the rest of his life.
But he has a useless crush on the World’s Highest Advisor, the most important person in the world. Sakuma Rei. Immeasurably Powerful, and infalliably kind.
Rei is as Highest as the World and the World’s people can put a Person. Unreachable. Beautiful. Cute at times, in Kaoru’s humble opinion. Kaoru’s lowest existence should not even be known to him.
But when the evil organization strikes back, Kaoru is Selected as one of the Heroes by the god, to find the Holy Grail, and of course Sakuma Rei is chosen too.
Kaoru has battle skills not from his peasant life, and even the World’s Highest Advisor can’t Tell. He goes on a journey with Rei and the other Heroes, to find his Fate.
