Gamma Jack snapped back to reality, not even realizing his martini had arrived while he was lost in thought. What he also had failed to realize was the faint burning in his cheeks and the small smile tugging at his lips.
“Who needs him?” he said aloud, taking a long sip of his martini, “who the hell needs Simon Paladino…”
