YESSSSS FINALLY
I've been waiting for this series by Lomonaaeren to finish foreeeever, and started reading it immediately. As always, absolutely amazing with an insanely well designed, complex, unique and intriguing exploration, usage and descriptions of magic, of this kind of special magic. Nobody can write about magic and make it feel enthralling the way Lomonaaeren can. ❤️
Alsooooo Goblin Harry! I love books where the goblins are painted in a good light, and gets explored a bit. This series does a pretty fantastic job at it. They have their own culture, societal structure, laws and rules, customs etc etc. It's fascinating, and I would say is a primary focus of the series.
Harry is very different to canon, but it makes sense because he was literally raised by goblins so obviously he is going to be very different. I loved his character. Also, other characters too! Mostly Luna, though, she is so so so lovely. ✨️
The books' tone is mostly light hearted, with some real funny moments, and it generally doesn't take itself too seriously. The plot is pretty good at times but nothing earth shattering: it's focus is more on the world building aspect, which is petty phenomenal.
