Letting Enid Sinclair be lost forever inside her wolf's skin would be an indelible stain on her record, an error as grotesque as the garish colors her former roommate once loved to wear. Wednesday refused to even entertain the thought of failure. Some hunts ended with the prey mounted as a trophy; this one would end only with Enid back inside her cage of colors.
