Booker says Nicky’s name quietly, likely hoping that Joe won’t hear.
Joe snarls and looks to the backseat of the car where Nicky isn't moving, which means he can't walk.

Summary
For all of the Jedi’s superiority in skill by being able to use the Force to find truth and ability to know what is right in the galaxy, they are rather blind when Darkness starts to cloud that very same Force.
In one galaxy, this leads to their downfall.
In this one, several people are present and born 50 years before the Clone Wars with past experience in simple observation and cause-in-effects, each with their own set of skills. Summary
Another game begins. All connections from the past ones have been broken. Yet something still pulls Grian and Scar together as they try survive to current game the watchers have thrown them in. Their memories of past lives are still hazy as they fight. Despite their manufactured unfamiliarity with each other when the games begin a familiar feeling of fondness persists.
