Frisk has successfully freed monsterkind from the Underground. Nine years have past, and a sixteen-year-old Frisk lives happily on the surface with their friends. Training with Undyne. Watching anime with Alphys. Cooking and living with Toriel and staying over at the skelebros'.
Yet Frisk finds themselves back in the Underground, their life on the surface gone, with only a grief-stricken, unstable skeleton for company.
