“As delightful as this little excursion is,” Grimmjow continued when Kuchiki seemed uninterested in initiating further conversation, despite being the one who asked him to fly his ass out here. “I know I’m not here on behalf of the Suigetsu-gumi, so what business could you possibly have with me directly?”
Kuchiki leaned forward slightly, his already cool grey eyes going as cold and hard as steel. “Tell me what you know of Kuchiki Rukia,” he demanded.
The question was so unexpected that Grimmjow didn’t bother holding back his genuine surprise. “Your sister? A damn sight less than you, I would imagine… The hell is going on, Kuchiki?”
“Your manners, as ever, leave much to be desired.”
“You don’t need me for my fucking manners,” Grimmjow snapped back, more on principle than out of any genuine annoyance. “So tell me what the fuck —”
“She’s missing,” Abarai cut him off.

Summary

When vampire Ulquiorra Cifer comes to negotiate on behalf of the most ancient and powerful vampire of all time, he gives Grimmjow an ultimatum: leave Karakura Town, or die. Grimmow leans forward to look at the headline and instantly needs to suppress a cringe.
Termination of the contract, it says.
So, that’s what it’s about. Honestly, he should have guessed.
“Your personal assistant left it here this morning.” Kisuke informs, only confirming what he has already figured out on his own. “Don’t you have anything to say to that?”
“What do you want me to say? That I’m sorry?” He snaps, his nose wrinkling with ire. “I’m not! It’s not my fault they can’t handle their own fucking responsibilities!”
“Tell me, Grimmjow. How many assistants you already had?”
“I dunno,” he shrugs, but gives it a try and digs through the memories. “Like… seven, maybe?”
“Fourteen. Not even a single one made it past the three-month mark.”Or

Twelve years after Yhwach's defeat, Ichigo is happy. The worlds are at peace. He has a wife, a child, and a normal human job. Everyone he wants to protect is safe.
And if everything's not perfect, well, he's really good at stubbornly ignoring things. Like the claws he grows occasionally, and how his friends have scattered to the winds, and how nobody ever...did anything about the Soul King dying.
It works really well, up until some pink-haired asshole attacks Karakura Town and he realizes he's been bored out of his mind. Then it gets harder to ignore.
(Eventual sexual content and some mentions of same. The characters are all adults and in their late twenties at this point. I'll warn for explicit content in the chapter notes, at the beginning. Mind the relationship tags. & is platonic, / is romantic/sexual) -

Summary
When Grimmjow saves an injured cat and rushes her to the Kurosaki Veterinary Clinic, the last thing he expects is for the vet to be orange-haired, muscular, and sexy as all hell. Too bad Kurosaki Ichigo is straight. The two strike up a friendship and when Kurosaki returns Grimmjow's advances, things heat up.
What starts as a bit of fun becomes something deeper when Kurosaki welcomes Grimmjow into his family home and his heart. Kurosaki's too good for Grimmjow. His family is too nice, warm, and welcoming. Grimmjow worries he'll wreck things the way he always does. He should tell Kurosaki they've had their fun and end it.
After all, what could a nice guy like Kurosaki want with a broken stray like Grimmjow?

Times were, Jin and Rin liked it when the big boss's eyes fell on them and he said things like, "ah, I can entrust you with that thing". Felt important, like understanding, like respect.
Now Rin coils tighter around his neck and resists the urge to sigh.
"Urahara-dono, sir?"
The boss nods slowly. "You're good with the weird," his daemon says.
Jin does not feel very complimented.
"Take your newbie with you. Urahara-dono's heir knows him, doesn't he?"
Urahara-dono's heir regards Jin's trainee the way one regards a dumb, hapless chicken in a field full of foxes and tiger dens -- with vague, despairing concern. It's, Jin supposes, not the worst thing. He could be regarding him like a newly powerful man regards the punk who used to try to beat him up behind the grocery store.

The first time Grimmjow runs into the orange-haired motherfucker that turns into the bane of his existence, he’s too preoccupied with not dying to notice most of the details. Later, once he’s put a healthy distance between himself and those specific sand dunes, he’ll recall impressions of bright hair and black estigma and a hole in the center of the fucking vasto lorde’s chest.
The whole affair only gets more confusing afterward, when the damn thing keeps trying to feed him.
