In which, Sawyer is just trying to really live the life she once had after going through absolute hell for three years straight. Of course, things just have to get turned upside down, because someone Sawyer thought she'd never come face to face with helps her get a box of macaroni and cheese. That someone being the same exact celebrity that she is seeing in concert the very next night was nowhere to be seen on her 2024 bingo card. And when she decided to throw the box straight at his face instead of thanking him, he still forgave her, and finally helped her believe that she didn't go through hell for absolutely nothing.

“Let’s make a promise,”
Louis cocked his head.
“Of what?”
Harry smirked at him.
“Let’s promise not to change.”
And Harry didn’t need to explain any further. Louis didn’t understand it, not really, at the time. Because it’d been hardly a week of the lot of them even knowing one another really, and they hardly knew anything about well… Anything, yet. But Louis knew there was something in it. And to be an arse, he raised his pinky.
“No changing,” Louis said. Harry dimpled, wrapping his pinky around Louis’.
“No changing.”
It was a first of many of their own little personal promises to one another. And the first promise the both of them had broken.

Harry had thought he’d been prepared for his first solo tour, and in some ways it is exactly what Harry expected. But in other ways it’s entirely different. It’s lonelier than he remembered, all the waiting around backstage, the endless hours on tour buses, the days he’s so tired he thinks he could melt into the asphalt of a rest stop in the middle of America and happily stay there forever, and the nights he’s too keyed up to sleep. It’s alienating. He feels unmoored, drowning in all of his too-big emotions. Without the chaos of four other boys to keep him distracted, to keep him grounded, he’s afraid it's only a matter of time until he loses himself in it for good.
