Summary
Han Yoojin had always been accustomed to farewells, had been always saying goodbye, so it is no surprise that when presented with a second chance at life, he struggles with saying hello again, especially to the people he’s long since parted from. Some of them don’t know who he is yet, others are acquaintances he missed the chance in developing a relationship with, but the majority of them are people who, once dead, are alive this round.
Now, faced with familiar faces that feel more like ghosts from a forgotten time, Yoojin finds that maybe, just maybe, they’re better off not knowing. Maybe it’s kinder to stay away, to let them live as if he never existed. Yet, there’s a part of him that needs to be remembered, to know that he will not be thrown aside, even as he denies that desire, pushing it down each time it surfaces.
And most importantly, in deepest secrecy, Yoojin asks himself: how does one hold on when all they’ve known is letting go?
