Couldn’t find a fanfic to my taste so I was like let’s make it my taste 🤓.
Mildred is disoriented when she wakes up from her sleep and realises she is indeed in an hospital her mum and she undergoes a crash. Incoming Pippa Pentangle who reads about the crash in a newspaper who she obviously tells it to Miss Hardbroom. who eventually decides she would house Mildred but only for the summer never ever get attached to the wretched girl. A lot of angst is in if you want to see how their relationship turns out follow along. And obviously pippa will be a sweetheart swooping in just when it is the right time.Honestly wanted to make a fic with Hecate as stepmother to Mildred but maybe next time if the idea appeals to you tell me in the comments.

Mildred Hubble was no longer a student at Cackles Academy anymore. Constance Hardbroom had thought the girl’s sudden departure was strange, but she never looked into it. She starts to regret it when Mildred shows up at the door of Cackles with a whole mystery surrounding her.
Now the potions teacher finds herself trying to figure out what’s happened, why Mildred is so different, whilst dealing with the teachers at Cackles, and trying to convince Amelia to not follow to rules and laws and to let Constance deal with Mildred.
All whilst Cackles might be in danger, with Mildred Hubble in the middle of it.
