    Inspired by “Late Afternoon In The Meadow (1887)” by Joshua Burnside

     

    (Basically they’re all human, and they all separately decide to get on a bus to go to a waterfall. Within the span of that one bus ride, they all become friends.)

    Mitchell was the love of her life, but Annie couldn’t help but wonder if maybe they weren’t meant to be together after all. She comes home from work to find him crying, soaked in blood, and passed out on the couch, or smoking cigarettes in the bathroom.

    Together they’re perfect, but she fears Mitchell is slowly draining her of her humanity.
