She had two choices to free her partner alive: paying an impossible amount of money or tracking down what her partner stole without any clue. At first, she opted for the former option by participating in a heist. But the plan was halted by the sudden appearance of Spiderman whom she blamed for worsening her circumstances.
Little did she know that Spiderman was her neighbor next door whom she never acknowledged until one night when she caught the costumed vigilante entering his apartment through the balcony.
