The young man's lips parted in protest but, as usual, he didn't voice his thoughts aloud, instead, white teeth worried his lower lip."After the evens of Sandrock, Stev ends up in an Alliance prison in the Eufaula desert. On his way to a prisoner exchange with Duvos, a series of events lead to his escape and eventual relocation in Settlement 2.
Avery, former Commander of the Alliance Guard from Atara, is now demoted to Commander of the Rangers in charge of Settlement 2 after a failed prisoner transport.Will these two former enemies find their new beginnings in Settlement 2?

Started as introspection and random scenes and devolved into *gasp* proper plot. We have plot, people and some smut sprinkled in between. But mostly plot. And feels.
