Summary
Alcryst, a fearsome direwolf with a beautiful voice, lives in the magical woods surrounding the Queendom of Solm. Every night, he sits upon the forest's tallest cliff and sings to his audience of two: the Queendom's prince, Fogado, and the unblinking eye of the moon.
But one night, when Fogado attempts to catch a glimpse of him, Alcryst panics, and tragedy strikes. In desperation, he turns to the Divine Dragon for help, and an agreement is struck. If he can guide the blinded prince through the Brodian Woods to her, she will restore the prince’s eyesight.
Thus, a bittersweet journey begins — one filled with romance, tragedy, and lies upon lies upon lies…
