“All right. Any questions?” The brunet man looks around in curiosity, seeing that a few people have their hands raised. However, one man in particular catches his eye. Sandy blond hair, combed to perfection, and a perfectly sculptured face that captures the look of a Greek god. Not to mention his lean build, presumably from the years of dance training.
A small sigh escapes George’s lips, and he doesn’t think that he could have fallen for someone any faster. That is until the god of a man speaks up with a smug tone. “Will there be multiple auditions for people who meet your expectations or is it just this one?”
“Okay, buddy…” George grumbles almost silently to himself. “All big talk, huh.”
Or, George joins a new ballet company and auditions for a role in The Nutcracker, only to meet Dream, a seemingly stuck-up brat. At least, that's what George sees him as. That is, until they get to know each other just a little bit more.

“You don’t have to lie for my sake,” the Count laughed outright. Obi-Wan was puzzled but not unhappy; the box contained a nutcracker, crudely carved and painted to be wearing the red jacket and tall black-feathered hat of a foot soldier. The doll stared up at him with bright blue eyes and its hair stuck out like sticks of straw in all directions. A small crack ran over the nutcracker’s right eye and his grin was slightly lopsided, but there was something charming about the clunky figurine. Obi-Wan found himself cradling it against his chest without realizing, an oddly protective instinct settling bone-deep within him. His godfather's smile had gone soft, “Do you truly like him, Obi-Wan?”
“He’s wonderful,” the boy answered honestly. His finger tips traced along the toy's sharp nose and misshaped right arm. “There’s something about him that’s rather handsome, I think. A rogue with a heart of gold.”
“I knew that you would be the one who understood him best,” Dooku stated. There was an edge of insistence in the Count's voice when he added, “I hope that you’ll take good care of him, my boy.”

Count Tsuchigomori rummaged in the empty sack, and then patted his pockets down. Kou was losing what little hope he had left until the Count reached into his pocket.
“How’d that get there?” Tsuchigomori murmured to himself. “Here.” He handed, from Kou’s own--and previously empty-- pocket, an ornament. It was of a small porcelain mermaid that fit easily in his hand. She had long white-into-seafoam-green hair that cascaded down her back and stretched up to reach a star that barely rested in her hands.
“Thank you, godfather.”
“Yeah whatever, anytime, kid.

"Yeah sure, I'll believe that when I see it," he snipped, fiddling with the controls in front of him.
"You know what? Fine. I'll prove to all of you idiots that your commander can dance. We still have a couple hours before we need to be under way, tell everyone to assemble in the cargo bay in fifteen." With that, she turned and headed for the stairs, paying no mind to a very nonplussed Joker staring at her back.
