That's when Muscles walked into the room, wearing his fixed-up gear. Her previous thoughts died before they fully left her mouth as manic energy filled her, her feet already guiding her to her best partner, a cackle escaping her lips on the way. “Midoriya! I knew my babies would look good on you! How do they feel?”
The greenette laughed, rubbing the back of his head while patting the new side armor pieces she had added. “They feel great, really they do- but you didn’t need to go all out.” He smiled down at her, a comfortable one he had started wearing after being in her care for so long.
She felt like she could build an entire planet when he looked at her like that.
“Just repairs were fine,” he explained, in the way he did that always made her feel appreciated, something bubbling in her chest at his tone. “My old costume was perfect already!”
“Perfection is the enemy of creation!” she hissed, in mock annoyance. Izuku laughed lightly, shaking his head good-heartedly at her outburst. He completely understood her, in more ways than anyone else could. The thought made her heart thump in a pleasurable rhythm, making her smile wider and poke him on the chest with mock aggression, continuing the fun back and forth. “I mean it, Ten Million! And besides, if you're here, that means something is wrong, right?”
