Summary
Jayce made a promise to Viktor, and he intends to keep it. But when he sets his eyes on his former partner, his resolve wavers. He lifts his Mercury Hammer and charges it but can’t bring himself to fire his weapon. Above him, Viktor opens his eyes and smiles at him softly and there is so much love in his gentle expression that Jayce’s heart skips a beat. He has known for a long time now that he loves this man, still yearns for him despite everything that has happened. An internal battle wages inside him. He wants so badly to keep his promise and end the threat to humanity that Viktor poses. But the thought of harming Viktor makes his chest ache and his stomach flip. He knows what he needs to do. But with every passing second that his hammer remains primed to fire he feels himself breaking down.
What if Jayce joined Viktor in the commune as his consort...

“W-what happened to you? Did he do this?” Now he looks more agitated as he contemplates his next move. Surely, he’s not carrying…
“The miracle of the Hexcore! I can finally have a family with Viktor!” As if a weapon isn’t pointing at him, the pregnant Jayce blushes bashfully as he leans closer to his partner’s touch. “He’s all I need.” Viktor reciprocates the action by tightening his arms around his torso and planting a small peck on his shoulder.
The other Jayce grimaces as he sneers: “Pathetic!” like every fibre of his being seethed at the sight before him.
