Day 25- Surrounded + “Taking a bath”
Canon John the waiter and Canon “Petal”: In which John comes home after a long day of work, only to find his Petal surprising him again.
__“You can turn around now,” He mumbled, watching as Petal quickly rolled up their sleeves and sank down to their knees so they could rest their elbows against the bathtub and pull him in for a gentle kiss.
“Can I wash your hair, hun?” They whispered to him, resting their forehead against his. John took a moment to take in his surroundings.
The smell of the candles was starting to set in, and he used the fire from them to light his heart when he looked at them. He leaned forward to give them another kiss, even if he hadn’t answered their question.
“I love you, Petal.” He mumbled, feeling his heart swell with more love than he thought he was capable of.
