Summary
After the fiasco with Hawkmoth and Mayura, Multimouse (Current Guardian of the Miraculous) can happily say that Paris is out of danger and that the Miraculouses in the Miracle Box are all accounted for. Now that the threat of Akumas is gone from Paris, Marinette decides that it's time for a brand new beginning.
Marinette now pursuing a career in journalism gets an internship under Lois Lane from the Daily Planet.

Instead of a verbal scolding, or a sharp query of “why on earth were you listening in?”, Ladybug said: “Adrien?”
in which Ladybug is Paris' sole superhero and Adrien is her Lois Lane.

Summary
After the defeat of the terrorist that plagued the city, and the disappearance of their hero, Paris eventually learns to move on from the life that they used to live.
Now, a year later, with the appearance of a new villain, Marinette is forced to take up the mantle yet again, and with the heat of the media crashing down on her, and the stresses of being a hero, she has to make one last trip before she can finally stand for the city once again.
It just so happens to be that she works with him in the same office building.
