YOU are JULEKA COUFFAINE, and you found a Miraculous, the Butterfly, one that grants you the power to transform anyone into a loyal ally, but it is not enough. It cannot heal your one true love, ROSE LAVILLANT, whose terminal illness worsens with every year. She will not make it to 25. But there is the Ladybug and Black Cat, which when brought together grant a single wish. It comes at a cost, but You know of people less worthy to live than Rose…This was originally a quest run from April to June 2025 in the Miraculous Fanworks Discord Server!

“They remind me that I’m not alone.” It’s a simple answer, and it doesn’t even begin to breach how it truly feels to stand beneath a starlit sky in the middle of the country. But it’s what Juleka misses most right now. “Even if it feels like I’m the only person in the world who’s awake, I know that the stars are up there too. They’re still there, twinkling, waiting for someone to see their beauty.”
I guess I see myself in them, Juleka doesn’t say. Shining brightest when no one else is around to see, waiting for the moment when someone sees them for who they truly are and loves them all the more because of it.

However despite how much she sold it to the public, Panthera Noire was not like that, not really. Because while she was Panthera Noire to the city, for all the world knew, Juleka Couffaine didn't even exist.
Drowning in her crush for her best friend and the responsibilities of carrying the world on her back, she only wants to survive long enough to see the romantic fairy tale happy ending she’s gotten a hope for.

One Saturday afternoon, determined to uncover the hidden layers of Chloé, Juleka ventured to the lush gardens of the Tuileries. Walking in, she felt the inviting warmth of the sun against her skin, contrasted by the chill of uncertainty inside her. It was here that she nestled against a tree, strumming her guitar and weaving a soothing melody that danced softly through the air.
To her surprise, Chloé sauntered into view, ostensibly trying to maintain her renowned poise, yet Juleka noticed the slight tremor in her hands. Chloé plopped onto a nearby bench, and though she initially appeared to be scrolling through her phone, Juleka could see the distant gaze in her eyes.
In an impulsive moment, Juleka decided to bridge the gap. She transitioned her melodious tune into a more upbeat tempo, drawing Chloé’s attention.
“Hey, you sound great!” Chloé called across the grass, the air lightening slightly as she acknowledged Juleka. “What are you playing?”

The fluorescent lights of the school hallway flickered like a nervous pulse as students bustled to their lockers. Juleka Couffaine leaned against her, flicking through her phone, only half-listening to the chatter around her, her lavender hair cascading over one shoulder. It had been a long day, one filled with math equations that danced on the edges of her blurry focus.
“Hey Juleka!” a familiar voice chirped, bringing her back to reality. Zoe Lee leaned against the locker next to hers, her golden hair catching the light like sunlight breaking through clouds. Juleka couldn’t help but smile at the burst of energy Zoe seemed to radiate.
“Hey, Zoe. What’s up?” Juleka replied, tucking her phone away. Zoe was someone special—though Juleka could hardly fathom why. They had spent several lunch hours together this semester, discussing everything from art to music, but it was their recent conversation about hair color that sparked the flame of curiosity in Juleka.
“Not much, just thinking about trying a new hair color,” Zoe said, flipping her hair playfully. “Something bold… like teal or maybe a deep blue? What do you think?”
