Summary
There was something hauntingly familiar about that voice, even amid the roaring discord of Penacony’s streets, but Stelle refused to pair it with such memories. It couldn’t be, could it? She had done everything in her power to drown out that sound ever since their separation, even when it was once music to her ears. But those sudden dreams elicited a small sliver of hope in her chest…as if she was anticipating the stranger to be her forgotten vice.
