Summary
It was a spur of the moment thing when Kakyoin Noriaki decided to stay dead despite breathing. For one, it certainly was easier when picking off the remains of DIO's influence on the world, when a man they believed was dead has his fist on their face. For another, however, it means that he can never truly have that name again.

Summary
A version of events in which, in the final battle of Stardust Crusaders, Joseph is the one who chases after the errant Polnareff, while Jotaro and Kakyoin get to be a team and form the other half of the pincer-attack plan.
As a result of this, Kakyoin Noriaki lives - and as a result of that, a few more things change, as well.

“I’ve got it,” Kakyoin said, and his voice was steely calm. He finally pulled off his sunglasses, turning to look at Jotaro, determination and conviction hard in his byzantium eyes. It was a good look on him.
“I’ve figured out a way to reveal what Dio’s Stand truly is,” Kakyoin said.
The corner of Jotaro’s lip quirked upwards.
